Well with 4,000 dollars you can buy a really nice car on Craigslist, don't buy a new car because then you have interest and full coverage insurance you have to pay for to, I'd look at Honda Accords or Toyota Camry's, both very nice long lasting cars, when looking don't even bother with cars that have no pictures, there's a reason for that, and look for a car that has been taken care of well, not some kids project, and low miles is good, Honda's usually go about 300.000 miles on a motor, and Japan ship's over engines for Honda's with 30.000 miles on them and sells them here for about 300 to 600 dollars, look up tarco, so when you need a motor they don't cost you to much, and there are so many Honda's if you need a part there around, You like my daughter just recently can find a very nice car there for 2000 or less, and stay away from any dealership, buy from someone that knows something about how that car has been taken car of and doesn't have any over head to pay, any other questions e-mail me and i'll be glad to help.
